Apparently this bull elephant, or 'tusker' was in musth, during which time, they can become aggressive and are chained for the safety of those around them. For this reason, all print proceeds will go to the EARS foundation, which helps elephants all around Asia.
Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, a partnership between EARS Asia and Save Elephant Foundation in Thailand, rescued their first elephants in August 2016.
Kannika and Ma Dee were taken from the a tourist camp to their new home, where they will never have to work again.
